Barrhaven Towing is hiring out of our 299 Greenbank Rd base in Nepean. We run trucks across the Ottawa-Gatineau area 24 hours a day, which means we keep drivers, locksmiths, and dispatchers on multiple shifts. If you live in Ottawa and know the city, we want to hear from you.
We staff small on purpose. Every driver and technician on the team handles real calls in real conditions. Ottawa weather, late nights, busy intersections on Hunt Club Rd, that is the daily work. If you can keep calm with a customer on the side of the road at 3 in the morning, you will fit in here.
Full time and part time roles available. Light duty and flatbed equipment. Routes cover Barrhaven, Nepean, Manotick, Gloucester, and the wider Ottawa-Gatineau area. You handle pickups, drop offs, and roadside calls.
What we look for: clean Class G or higher licence, two or more years of commercial driving, and a calm head on accident scenes. Experience with flatbeds and AWD vehicles is a plus.
Mobile role responding to car lockouts, trunk lockouts, and key recovery jobs across the greater Ottawa area. You travel in a service vehicle stocked with no damage entry tools and basic key cutting equipment.
What we look for: locksmith training or equivalent automotive lockout experience, comfortable working alone, and a clean driving record. Bilingual French and English is a strong asset for Gatineau side calls.
The everything-on-the-side-of-the-road role. Battery boosts, tire changes, fuel drops, lockout backup, and basic mechanical triage. You drive a service vehicle, not a tow truck.
What we look for: hands on mechanical comfort, willingness to work nights and weekends, and a clean licence. Trade school or apprentice automotive background is a plus.
You are the first voice every customer hears. You take calls, ask the right questions, log the job, and route the closest truck. Most days run on the phone. Some run on radio with drivers when crews are out across Barrhaven, Manotick, and South Keys.
What we look for: clear phone presence, calm under pressure, comfort with basic call management software, and good knowledge of Ottawa roads and neighbourhoods.
Hourly base plus call bonuses for drivers and technicians. Pay reviewed annually.

Trucks, service vehicles, lockout tools, and gear are supplied. You bring boots and weather gear.
New drivers ride along with senior crew before solo runs. Locksmiths get on the job mentoring.
Most calls land within the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Long distance runs are optional and paid extra.
We hire carefully and keep crews together. Most of our drivers stay multiple years.

Drivers and technicians clock in here at the start of a shift and use the yard as a home base between calls. The location gives quick access to most of our service area, which keeps response times down.
